This stylish tropical retreat on the 2nd floor at the Maui Banyan features vaulted ceilings (one of only 14 units with vaulted ceilings out of more than 200 units) with newly remodeled kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances, flat screen TVs in living room and each bedroom, Nintendo Wii, and triple-wide lanai (patio). Bamboo and travertine floors throughout and contemporary island-style furnishings and artwork. This unit is one of the buildings that is closest to the beach and is in a very private location. It also has easy access to a nice grassy garden area on the ground level with gas BBQ.
The Maui Banyan is located in the most desirable part of sunny South Kihei, and is just across the street from gorgeous Kamaole 2 Beach, a sandy swimming beach. There are many other great sandy swimming beaches within 1 mile, as well, and several are also in walking distance. There is a great selection of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The Wailea Resort area, with many high-end resort hotels like the Four Seasons, starts less than 1 mile away. The Maui Banyan complex has 2 pool/spa recreation areas, lots of gas BBQs, complimentary tennis (we provide rackets), and lots of parking, both covered or uncovered.
The unit will be one of our "Maui Gold Condos Exclusive Units" so it also has the following beach gear as well as baby items for our families with little ones: Pack-n-Play portacrib/playpen, baby booster/high chair, boogie boards, tennis rackets, beach chairs, and a cooler.
This unit is adjacent to beach and 3 units from S. Kihei Road, so there is some road noise if you're sitting outside, but the location is very nice and it's a very private location. It's a great unit for families with young children since it's so close to the beach and you have access to a grassy area for older kids to play (on the ground level). It's directly across from the beach, and a very short walk to all the shops and restaurants nearby.

*Even if your dates are available on our online calendar, we are unable to accept reservations that create unbookable gaps between bookings, so please check with us BEFORE booking online to make sure that your selected dates are acceptable. Longer minimum stays may be required depending on the existing opening.
Late checkouts cannot be guaranteed in advance- if you have a late departing flight, we recommend you book an extra night to allow your family to fully enjoy your last day on Maui, then return to the unit to shower and prepare for the trip back home. This unit is often booked with back-to-back departure/arrivals, making the possibility of late checkouts after the time of booking rare.

Past 10 am: Extend to 12 or 1 pm departure as a courtesy based on availability
Past 1 pm: 50% charge of the reservation rate up to a 4 pm departure
Past 4 pm: Full night reservation charge up to 11 am departure the following morning
